A projectile is positioned along the longitudinal axis towards the front end of the case. An endcap is coupled to the front end of the case and is adapted to retain the projectile entirely within the case. A primer is positioned along the longitudinal axis towards the base end of the case. A primer support is coupled to the base end of the case and is adapted to support the primer within the case. The cartridge assembly includes at least one obturating lip seal to seal at least one of the endcap or the primer support to the case.

An external radiation reference-source having at least one prominent characteristic signal to beam-through the sample without interfering with the radiation signals emitted by the homogeneous sample, wherein the external reference-source is affixed to the reference-source positioning device, which is affixed to the sample-container.

The pharmaceuticals are comprised of a targeting moiety that binds to a receptor that is upregulated during angiogenesis, an optional linking group, and a therapeutically effective radioisotope or diagnostically effective imageable moiety. Abstract: A device is provided for compression of objects such as parts of the body. The device has the form of a band that can be shaped like a sleeve, wrap or garment that is sized to encircle the body part or other compressible object and having a component or components made of an elastic material. Indicia such as tick marks or scales are printed on the device. The stretch of the elastic material as the device is tensioned around the body part causes increased separation of the indicia or movement of a free end of the band with respect to the indicia. A system measures the separation of the indicia and converts it to compression as a function of the circumference of the body part. The system may be a card having edges with measurement scales or the scales may be printed on the device and the displacement of a free end of a band or sub-band of the device with respect to the scales indicates the compression for particular circumferences of the body part.

Abstract: Methods, data processing systems and program products provide delayed generation and encoding of data transmissions by storing a reference to a message to be transmitted as an entry in a transmission request queue. After establishing a communication connection between a host data processor and the portable data processor, the message corresponding to the entry in the transmission request queue is generated, encoded and then transmitted to the host data processor over the communication connection. If user input is received which requests that information resident in the data processor be modified, the data processor determines if the information associated with the modification request includes information contained in a message associated with an entry in the transmission request queue.

Abstract: This invention relates to the use of a standard language and signal interface between a custom line card for connection to a corresponding arbitrary type terminal, and a switch. The line card is plugged into an interface unit which converts between the signals from the arbitrary type terminal and a standard set of signals for interfacing with the switch. The Bellcore TR303 standard is the preferred choice for communicating signals between the interface unit and the switch. The term terminal as used herein is very general and includes both simple (analog) and complex (video) telephone devices, as well as other types of customer premises equipment such as FAX terminals; it includes, for example a TV set-top box. Advantageously, only a small signal conversion program and table, and an interface card, need be developed in order to support a new type of terminal.
