  • Patent number: 8444151
Abstract: An apparatus for playing a game is provided. The apparatus may include a base, a plurality of projectiles and a first target platform moveable with respect to the base. The first target platform may include a collecting position, in which the plurality of projectiles are collected at the first target platform, and a dispersing position, in which the plurality of projectiles are dispersed from the first target platform. The apparatus may further include an actuator mechanism configured to actuate movement of the first target platform from the collecting position to the dispersing position and a first launcher attached to the base and configured to project the plurality of projectiles toward the first target platform.

  • Publication number: 20110088264
Abstract: Specific embodiments of the present invention are directed to blade holders, which provide an easier method to cut by way of including a guide incorporated into the handle. This guide rests upon the surface to be cut, leading the cutting blade. Furthermore, the leading end of the tool is blunt, which is safer than leading with a sharp edge. In specific embodiments, the handle is of such a shape that the user can pull the tool straight back to cut, allowing the hand to rest in a more neutral and ergonomic position.

  • Publication number: 20090182788
Abstract: An apparatus and method for customized email and data management is disclosed. According to one embodiment, a collaborative page is created to contain an email module configured to access one or more email accounts. Emails from the one or more email accounts are selected using an email selection criterion. The selected emails are processed to parse data based on a parsing rule. The emails and the parsed data are displayed on the collaborative page. The collaborative page is updated with new emails and the updated content.

  • Patent number: 7325873
Abstract: A seating unit comprising a base configured to be positioned on a floor, a torsional energy unit connected to the base, a back connected to the torsional energy unit and a seat rotatably connected to the torsional energy unit. The torsional energy unit biases the back to a forward position. The torsional energy unit further limits angular rotation of the seat between a substantially horizontal seating position and a substantially vertical seating position.

  • Publication number: 20040260387
Abstract: A stent includes an expandable, generally tubular wall structure that can be radially expanded between a collapsed tubular configuration and an expanded and supportive tubular configuration. The stent defines a longitudinal axis. At least one penetrating projection (defining a projection axis) is attached to the wall of the stent. The penetrating projection supports a treatment drug and is pivotal between a stowed position, wherein the projection axis lies generally parallel to the longitudinal axis of the stent, and a penetrating position, wherein the projection axis lies generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the stent and directed radially outward. The penetrating projection is in it's stowed position when the stent is in it's collapsed tubular configuration and moves to it's penetrating position when the stent expands to it's expanded and supportive tubular configuration.
