  • Patent number: 11970817
Abstract: A method for preparing an aqueous suspension may include providing a fibrous substrate comprising cellulose having a Canadian Standard freeness equal to or less than 450 cm3, and microfibrillating the fibrous substrate in an aqueous environment by grinding in the presence of a grinding medium consisting essentially of mullite. The grinding may be carried out in the absence of grindable inorganic particulate material. The grinding medium may be present in an amount of at least about 10% by volume of the aqueous environment. The microfibrillated cellulose may have a fibre steepness of from about 20 to about 50.

  • Publication number: 20240116070
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to an applicator for an adhesive primer. The applicator includes a tank configured to hold the adhesive primer. The applicator also includes a peristaltic pump, having an inlet and an outlet, and a spray nozzle. A first conduit extends from an interior of the tank to the inlet of the peristaltic pump, and a second conduit extends from an outlet of the peristaltic pump to the spray nozzle. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to a method of applying adhesive primer to a road surface using the applicator. In the method, the adhesive primer is pumped from the tank containing the adhesive primer through the peristaltic pump to the spray nozzle. Further, the adhesive primer is sprayed from the spray nozzle onto the road surface while the applicator moves across the road surface.

  • Publication number: 20240106768
Abstract: One embodiment comprises a non-transitory, computer-readable medium embodying thereon computer-executable instructions for receiving a document design, generating a conversation-enabled document from the document design, exposing the conversation-enabled document on a conversation channel, receiving a participant response, updating the conversation-enabled document based the participant response, and rendering a communication page on a second channel using the updated conversation-enabled document. The document design comprises a page template and a conversation template. The page template specifies content of the communication page and a variable to be populated with a first variable value. • Patent number: 11943322
Abstract: A method, a computing device, and a computer program product are provided. An interceptor hub application executing on a first computing device receives, via a network, a request for multiple services from a first service-consuming application executing on a second computing device. The multiple services execute on at least one other computing device and are accessible via the first computing device via the network. The interceptor hub application sends a respective request to each of the requested services executing on a corresponding one of the at least one other computing device. A respective service response from the each of the respective services is received by the interceptor hub application, which provides each of the respective responses in a combined service response to the first service-consuming.

  • Patent number: 11924394
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for using selective resolution reduction on images to be transmitted and/or used by a playback device are described. Prior to transmission one or more images of an environment are captured. Based on image content, motion detection and/or user input a resolution reduction operation is selected and performed. The reduced resolution image is communicated to a playback device along with information indicating a UV map corresponding to the selected resolution allocation that should be used by the playback device for rendering the communicated image. By changing the resolution allocation used and which UV map is used by the playback device different resolution allocations can be made with respect to different portions of the environment while allowing the number of pixels in transmitted images to remain constant. The playback device renders the individual images with the UV map corresponding to the resolution allocation used to generate the individual images.

  • Publication number: 20230421666
Abstract: A method, a system, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium are provided. An interceptor hub application (IHA) receives a request for services in a first format and converts at least some information in the request to a second format. Respective requests are sent to the requested services, at least some which include a corresponding portion of the information in the second format. The IHA receives respective service responses from the respective services and provides the respective service responses in an expected combined service response format. A first request for permission to access an application program interface/endpoint is received from a user of a client via an IHA user interface and is provided to a first manager of the application program interface/endpoint. Approval of the first request from the first manager is received, and in response, the interceptor hub application provides the client with access to the application program interface/endpoint.

  • Patent number: 11816072
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods as disclosed may provide a platform agnostic way to edit content within an enterprise. For example, a platform independent thin client editor may be provided such that this editor can be accessed by users at a variety of computing platforms across the distributed computer network of an enterprise, regardless of the platform from which the thin client editor is being accessed. Moreover, certain embodiments may provide a role based mechanism for controlling the editing of content. Embodiments of such a role based mechanism may allow one editor of a content item to designate a role associated with the content item so that only users associated with that role may be allowed to edit the content item or portion of the content item.

  • Patent number: 11788919
Abstract: A leak detection sensor may be capable of dynamically adjusting a sampling time for acoustic data based on monitored fluid flow. The leak detection sensor monitors leak detection information associated with a fluid in a fluid transporting medium over a predetermined time interval, where the leak detection information comprises flow and pressure of the fluid in the fluid transporting medium, and processing the leak detection data monitored at the sampling time in the predetermined time interval, where the sampling time is determined based at least in part on the monitored flow of the fluid.

  • Patent number: 11538593
Abstract: An example method includes storing healthcare information related to a patient on the cloud-based clinical information system and determining if a first local information system of a first healthcare entity includes a first existing patient record associated with the patient. The example method also includes communicating a first command from the cloud-based clinical information system to an edge device located at a facility associated with the first healthcare entity and in communication with the first local information system. The edge device is to automatically attach a first portion of the healthcare information to the first existing patient record if the first local information system includes the first existing patient record or automatically generate a first new patient record to be populated by the first portion of the healthcare information if the first local information system does not include the first existing patient record based on the first command.
