    Abstract: Asbestos-free fibre reinforced sheet material comprises from 10 to 35% by weight of a cured elastomeric binder and from 20 to 70% by weight of glass fibres (including ceramic fibres, or mineral fibres or mixtures of these) surface treated with a composition which is readily soluble in the solvent used in compounding the elastomeric binder.
