  • Patent number: 5440282
Abstract: A filter structure of inexpensive design that reliably prevents rotation of a filter housing with respect to an outer sleeve of the filter structure is disclosed. More specifically, a connector portion of an end cap of the filter structure is keyed with an opening provided in a receiving end of the outer sleeve to prevent rotation of the filter housing with respect to the outer sleeve. Keying is preferably accomplished by forming the connector portion of the end cap in the shape of a "Double-D", although other shapes may be readily employed.

  • Patent number: 4099646
Abstract: Retaining means that are integrally formed as a part of a housing and its associated cover. Two U-shaped extensions are formed as part of the housing while two oppositely facing tabs are formed on extensions of the cover. The oppositely faced tabs slide into slots formed by the U-shaped extensions. The retaining means can be easily assembled and disassembled without requiring any assembly hardware.

  • Patent number: 3951490
Abstract: A substation for distributing signals of a cable system. The substation is provided with a novel center conductor seizure apparatus which permits the tension of the center conductor of a cable to be distributed to the frame of the substation. The method of coupling the cable to the substation permits the convenient exchange of associated electronics on a circuit board. The replacement of the circuit board can be accomplished without disconnecting the center conductor.
