  • Patent number: 11911773
Abstract: An apparatus (2) and a method for attaching a cone-shaped crushing mantle (4) of a cone crusher (100) to a carrier cone (6) of the cone crusher (100) and for detaching the crushing mantle (4) from the carrier cone (6) are provided. The apparatus (2) comprises a hydraulically actuated pre-tensioning actuator (24) adapted for pressing the crushing mantle (4) against the carrier cone (6) in a pre-tensioning process in the axial direction prior to tightening attachment screws (18) in the head region (20) of the carrier cone (6). The hydraulic pre-tensioning actuator (24) comprises a pressure chamber (26) for receiving a pressurized hydraulic medium and a piston (28) limiting the pressure chamber (26).

  • Patent number: 11819857
Abstract: An apparatus (2) for lifting a crushing mantle (4) of a cone or gyratory crusher is provided. The crushing mantle (4) has a first central axis (26) and an opening (10) with a clearance width (w) in its top region (12) surrounding the first central axis (26). The apparatus (2) comprises a plate-shaped lifting member (8) having a second central axis (18) and adapted to be attached to the top region (12) of the crushing mantle (4), wherein the first central axis (26) coincides with the second central axis (18) when the plate-shaped lifting member (8) is attached to the crushing mantle (4). The plate-shaped lifting member (8) includes at least one attachment member (32) adapted to be attached to a suspension assembly (36), in order to lift the plate-shaped lifting member (8) together with the crushing mantle (4) attached thereto.

  • Publication number: 20200261917
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a cone crusher having a bowl support and a stationary frame to which the bowl support may be mounted, the frame including an outwardly-facing threaded portion. A wedge structure may be disposed between the bowl support and the threaded portion of the frame, the wedge structure including an inwardly-facing threaded portion, the threads of which complement the outwardly facing threaded portion of the frame. Means may be provided for exerting an upward force on the wedge structure to move the wedge structure from an original position to an operational position during crushing operations and means may be provided for exerting a downward force on the wedge structure to return the wedge ring to the original position following crushing operations.

  • Publication number: 20200230609
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide a cone crusher having a mantle and a rotating eccentric that causes the mantle to gyrate from side to side with respect to a stationary frame to which is mounted a crusher lining. The cone crusher may include a thrust bearing having a first bearing ring rotating with the eccentric and a second bearing ring mounted to the frame, the first and second bearing rings being disposed immediately adjacent and facing each other, one of the rings having a plurality of spaced oil feeds and a first and a second set of ramps on a surface facing the other ring. The first and second set of ramps extend upwardly from each of the oil feeds in opposite circumferential directions.
