Abstract: A method for open-loop person to person payments comprises: receiving, from a sender computing device, a transaction request message including an identifier of a recipient, a selection of a payment device, and a payment amount; determining, based on the identifier, a registration status of the recipient; if the recipient is registered: determining, from the identifier of the recipient, an account of the recipient, and initiating a request to a payment network to effect a transfer of the payment amount from an account associated with the selected payment device to an account of the recipient; if the recipient is unregistered, effecting a transfer of the payment amount from an account associated with the selected payment device to an escrow account, and transmitting, to the recipient based on the identifier, a payment notification message, said payment notification message including a link for the recipient to register to receive the payment amount.

User input to modify a particular cursor (e.g., color, and/or size) to be displayed on a computer display can be received. A base scalable vector graphic (SVG) file representation associated with the particular cursor can be modified in accordance with the user input. The modified base SVG file representation can be converted to a bitmap file representation of the modified base SVG file representation. The bitmap file representation of the modified base SVG file representation can be stored for use in displaying the particular cursor.

The process includes providing a first operational mode for the wireless device that allows the wireless device to perform a first set of operations on data associated with the at least one on-board module and providing a second operational mode for the wireless device that allows the wireless device to perform a second set of operations on the data associated with the at least one on-board module, wherein the second set of operations is a subset of the first set of operations. The process also determines an operational mode for the wireless device based on predetermined criteria and configures the wireless device based on the determined operational mode. Further, the process includes operating the wireless device in either the first or second operational mode based on the configuring.
