Abstract: A method of processing Internet-based orders. The method includes providing a portal Web site on the Internet via a Web server, the Web site hosting a plurality of businesses that accept Internet orders via a Web server; receiving a customer's general information, via a customer's communication device; generating an order record in a database; storing the customer's general information in the order record; displaying to the customer via the Web site the plurality of businesses; updating the order record with the customer's chosen business; displaying to the customer via the Web site a list of goods, services, or both that the chosen business provides to the customer; receiving the customer's order information; and processing the customer's order information.
