  • Patent number: 11921677
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to sharing namespaces across file system clusters. A file in a spoke file system may be determined based on a command provided to the spoke file system such that the file may be associated with an inode mask. Data blocks associated with the file may be determined based on the command and the inode mask such that the data blocks may be absent from the spoke file system. Requests for leases may be generated based on the absent data blocks such that each lease request corresponds to a portion of the absent data blocks Employing the leases provided by a hub file system to: copy the absent data blocks from the hub file system where each portion of absent data blocks may be associated with a lease; updating the inode mask to include the leases and each copied portion of absent blocks.

  • Publication number: 20240048561
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to identify configuration information to be used by an on-premise access management service to provide authentication services to applications by users. The processor may also transform the identified configuration information into a transformed set of configuration information to be used by a cloud-based access management service to provide authentication services to the applications by users. In addition, the processor may store the transformed set of configuration information for use by the cloud-based access management service to provide authentication services to the applications by users to migrate authentication of the users from the on-premise access management service to the cloud-based access management service.

  • Publication number: 20230021937
Abstract: An aircraft that includes a hybrid-electric propulsion system is provided. In one aspect, the hybrid-electric propulsion system includes at least one propulsor that includes a gas turbine engine and an electric machine mechanically coupled with a spool of the gas turbine engine. When idle operation is commanded, electrical power is provided to the electric machine to cause the electric machine to apply torque to the spool and fuel provided to the engine can be reduced. Thus, the electric machine is controlled to provide a power assist to maintain the engine at the commanded idle speed whilst reducing fuel consumption.
