  • Patent number: 10905829
Abstract: A sub-assembly of a medicament delivery device, the sub-assembly including a housing for containing a propellant source, and a locking ring for attachment to the housing. The housing is configured to receive a flange of a syringe, the locking ring is configured to retain a syringe flange received in the housing between the locking ring and the housing when the locking ring is attached to the housing.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 3, 2014
Date of Patent: February 2, 2021
    Assignee: CONSORT MEDICAL PLC
Inventors: Alastair Willoughby, Marta Vilaplana, Alan Judd
  • Patent number: 10500335
Abstract: A sub-assembly for a medicament delivery device including a housing, a propellant source contained in and axially moveable relative to said housing, and a button axially moveable relative to said housing. At least part of said button is disposed axially rearwardly of part of said propellant source. The button includes one or more radially flexible blocking members, and the button is moveable between a first axial position in which the one or more radially flexible blocking members are radially restrained by the housing in a radially inward position that limits rearward axial movement of the propellant source, and a second axial position in which the one or more radially flexible blocking members are able to flex to a radially outward position and permit rearward axial movement of the propellant source relative to the button and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20160279332
Abstract: A sub-assembly of a medicament delivery device including a propellant source having a reservoir for containing a propellant and a stem for dispensing propellant from the reservoir, the stem extending axially along a longitudinal axis and having an open outlet end and a bore therethrough that is in fluid communication with the open outlet end and is selectively in fluid communication with the reservoir. The sub-assembly also includes a spray head member attachable to the stem. The spray head member is arranged to radially deflect propellent passing through the bore of the stem relative to the longitudinal axis.
