  • Patent number: 11764772
Abstract: A gate-drive controller for a power semiconductor device includes a master control unit (MCU) and one or more comparators that compare the output signal of the power semiconductor device to a reference value generated by the MCU. The MCU, in response to a turn-off trigger signal, generates a first intermediate drive signal for the power semiconductor device and generates a second intermediate drive signal, different from the first drive signal, when a DSAT signal indicates that the power semiconductor device is experiencing de-saturation. The MCU generates a final drive signal for the power semiconductor when the output signal of the one or more comparators indicates that the output signal of the power semiconductor device has changed relative to the reference value. The controller may also include a timer that causes the drive signals to change in predetermined intervals when the one or more comparators do not indicate a change.

  • Patent number: 5621995
Abstract: A magazine entrance guide integral with the mainspring housing of the firearm is provided. It is a guide having four sloped surfaces front, back and two opposite sides guiding double column staggered round high capacity magazine entrance during insertions. The magazine entrance guide with widely spaced sides in one embodiment has upwardly extended opposite side stabilizing extensions enclosing opposite sides of the gun butt within opposite side grip plates that counter torsion forces between the guide and the mainspring housing. In another embodiment opposite side stabilizing extensions are positioned within the angled out opening sides of the gun butt magazine opening to counter torsion forces between the guide and the mainspring housing.

  • Patent number: 5336760
Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus and method for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition comprising a complex of an antigen component and the corresponding antibody component in a pharmacologically acceptable carrier. The apparatus comprises a housing chamber for containing paramagnetic particles and a platform against which the housing chamber is releasably retained. The platform contains one or more magnets located adjacent to the housing chamber when the housing chamber is positioned on the platform. The platform is secured to a support which allows the platform, and thus the housing chamber, to be rotated between a vertical and a horizontal position.

  • Patent number: 5161876
Abstract: A lamp assembly has a first, second and third connections which mount a reflector body on a fixed support to enable independent adjustment of the reflector body relative to the support. Each of the first and second connections includes a screw threaded rod engaged with a boss carried by the support. A ball on the rod engages in a socket. The socket is provided in a separate member having a pair oppositely directed elliptical springs through which the socket is mounted on a respective boss integral with the body. The springs permit a degree of elastic deformation in a direction which is radial with respect to the axis about which the reflector body can be tilted by rotation of the associated rod.

  • Patent number: 5052140
Abstract: A guide for the insertion of gun magazines with a mounting extension insertable into a bottom opening in the butt of the gun with a butt bottom rim receiving opening with a bottom at the back end extended to opposite side shoulders with opposite sides engaging the rim profile of the gun butt bottom when mounted in place on the gun butt. The guide forms a lower flanged out bottom of the gun butt for improved grip and presents a wide angled opening extending out wider to opposite sides than the projected profile of the gun butt bottom making it easier and faster to insert a fresh magazine into the gun receiver. This magazine entrance guide has bifurcated sides extending forward from the rear in one embodiment and in another embodiment the front end is closed with the opposite sides joined together at the front. In either form this gun magazine entrance guide is quite useful for pistols such as the GLOCK pistol (U.S. Pat. No. 4,539,889) for faster loading and improved pistol grip.

  • Patent number: 4580204
Abstract: To facilitate production of a variety of lamp assemblies using a reduced amount of tooling, a lamp assembly is formed of a first reflector body having an internal reflective surface and at least one second reflector body having an internal reflective surface which are secured together by rivets rather than being moulded together to form a particular design of lamp assembly. Complementary frusto-conical bosses and recesses are formed at one side of the respective bodies, as are complementary stepped portions, in order to ensure that the bodies are secured together with the reflective surface in the required mutual disposition.
