Abstract: A shaving device comprising a head assembly including a support member having at least one support member magnet and a blade cartridge having at least one face with at least one razor blade and configured to be rotatably coupled to the support member about a pivot axis. The blade cartridge includes at least one blade cartridge magnet having a pole aligned with a pole of the support member magnet to generate a magnetic force that urges the blade cartridge about the pivot axis towards an initial starting position (ISP), wherein the blade cartridge is further configured to rotate about the pivot axis away from the ISP upon application of an external force sufficient to overcome the magnetic force between the support member magnet and the blade cartridge magnet.

Abstract: A refrigerated dispensing system is provided including an outer refrigerator cabinet and an interior, removable chassis that mounts a plurality of separately removable product storage and dispensing cartridges and a separately removable open-front product storage box. While the storage-box and individual cartridges are removably positionable within slots on one or more shelves inside of the chassis, the entire chassis (with storage box and cartridges positioned thereon) may be removed from the outer refrigerator cabinet. The open-front storage box is provided RFID product tracking for monitoring inventory of products stored within the storage box.

Abstract: A system for ensuring that a door automatically closes and latches while simultaneously ensuring that it does so in a manner which either eliminates or significantly minimizes the amount of noise such closure causes while making sure that the door does in fact fully close and latch. A door mounted portion includes a piston attached to a pivotable arm having a wheel on the end of the arm configured to engage with a doorframe mounted portion to slow the travel of the door into the doorframe while pulling the door into the doorframe to ensure secure closure of the door. A doorframe mounted striker plate portion is configured with at least one spring-loaded striker damper or flap against which a door latch and/or automatically deploying deadbolt lock engages, to slow the engagement of the door latch or deadbolt with striker region in the frame to minimize noise.

Abstract: A stormwater filter assembly includes a hood and an outlet tube within the hood for draining filtered stormwater. The outlet tube has a solid wall along at least a portion of its height, and an inlet above the solid wall. A second tube is disposed about the outlet tube defining a flow space therebetween for receiving filtered stormwater. The second tube includes a wall that is perforated along at least a portion of its height that overlaps with the solid wall of the outlet tube such that filtered stormwater that enters the flow space must move upward to enter the outlet tube. A filter media is disposed between the hood and the second tube through which stormwater travels during a filtering operation.

Abstract: A beverage maker is provided that allows a user to make a brewed beverage or dispense hot water. Various sealing and latching mechanisms are further provided for effectively sealing the brewing chamber under pressure. A mechanism is provided for reducing splashing when relatively short vessels are positioned beneath the brewing chamber.
