The method includes evaluating the camera image to obtain an image capture time corresponding to the system time. The method includes providing a latency based on the image capture time.

    Abstract: A method for determining a pose of a pair of smart glasses in an interior of a mobile machine includes capturing a camera image of an interior of the mobile machine and determining a relevant glasses type for the pair of smart glasses imaged by evaluating a data-based glasses-type recognition model using the captured camera image. The glasses-type recognition model is trained to assign a camera image to a relevant glasses type of one or more pairs of smart glasses. One of a plurality of data-based pose recognition models is selected depending on the recognized glasses type. The pose recognition models are each trained for one glasses type to determine a glasses pose of the corresponding pair of smart glasses according to the camera image. The glasses pose of the pair of smart glasses of the corresponding glasses type is determined via the selected pose recognition model.

It is monitored whether a presentation surface has been brought from a stowed position into a position of use in which the presentation surface faces the data glasses. The presentation surface is a dark or black unstructured surface. If it is recognized that the presentation surface has been brought into the position of use, start information from the assistance system is transmitted to the data glasses. Media information in the data glasses is automatically started and displayed depending on the start information.

    Abstract: A method for operating smart glasses for the augmented presentation of information objects on a display surface on the basis of a smart glasses pose in a vehicle interior is provided. The smart glasses pose is ascertained by inside-out tracking on at least one marker provided fixedly in a vehicle interior or at least one object provided in the vehicle interior. The at least one marker or the at least one object can be located by a computer-assisted pattern recognition method which is applied to a camera image of a smart glasses camera so that the smart glasses pose relative to the vehicle interior can be determined on the basis of a position, size and/or orientation of the at least one marker or of the at least one object. Only the camera image outside of a masking region is taken into account for the pattern recognition method.
