    Abstract: A thermal tooth tester includes a handpiece which carries circulating water from a heated reservoir through an applicator tip located at the end of the handpiece. The reservoir includes a circulation pump and a temperature control with sensing means to accurately control the temperature of the circulating fluid and, hence, the temperature of the applicator tip. The handpiece further includes a replaceable disposable tip sheath to provide a clean antiseptic surface for each use.

    Abstract: A dental radiographic film packet includes soft corners for greater patient comfort. Corner areas contain additional air space to permit additional flexing of the film chip in these areas. Furthermore, other internal structures, such as cardboard elements, have been removed to increase flexibility in these areas. The outer surface of the film packet is seamless at the corners to eliminate any sharp edges.
