  • Patent number: 6036153
Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated plastic hook assembly for the support of a sign or the like from an anchor secured to an elongated ceiling tile support member. The elongated hook assembly includes an elongated shaft having a first or upper end and a second or lower end with a first connection means arranged at the first or upper end of the elongated shaft and a hook member arranged at the second or lower end of the elongated shaft. The hook member and the elongated shaft have an annular locking segment connectively arranged therebetween. A web extends across the hook member to provide line of support for any further hook assembly saddled thereon, to minimize movement between any hook assemblies so connected.

  • Patent number: 5938255
Abstract: The present invention discloses a tool to permit the support and lifting of a planar sign member to a ceiling so as to attach that sign to a ceiling support rail. The tool comprises an elongated pole having a first or lower end and a second or upper end and a frame assembly attached to the upper end of the pole. A pair of spaced apart yokes are mounted on the top side of the frame assembly. Each yoke is arranged to directionally align and hold a ceiling anchor thereon, from which anchor, sign support hooks hang, to permit a sign to be hung from the anchor upon the anchors being secured to a ceiling rail by the tool extending thereagainst.

  • Patent number: 5863019
Abstract: The present invention comprises an elongated extruded poster clamp support assembly for the stiff and reliable hanging of a poster or sign therefrom, comprising an elongated planar base having an upper edge and a lower edge, a channel arranged on the upper edge of the planar base, to permit the clamp to be supported, and a pair of elongated legs attached to the channel, the legs arranged to be rotated into a poster holding orientation by movement about a hinge extending from the channel. The legs thereby define two spaced apart pressure strips biased against the base, for the pinching of a poster therebetween. The invention includes an elongated groove arranged as part of the channel, for the receipt of a stiffener rod to help keep flat any poster supported in the clamp.

  • Patent number: 5273517
Abstract: A fluid flow apparatus includes a peristaltic pump rotor mounted to a deck module assembly. A disposable software set is provided which includes a cassette which has a primary flexible tube and a pump platen adjacent to which the primary flexible tube resides. Tubing with blood processing bags are coupled to the manifold along with the input port of the rotor of a disposable blood processing centrifuge bowl. The cassette is removably secured to the hardware apparatus such that the flexible tube contacts both the platen of the cassette and the rollers of the pump rotor. The pump rotor is rotated to induce a fluid flow through the primary flexible tube. The software set also includes a three-to-one manifold which connects the primary tube to a plurality of secondary flexible tubes. Fluid flow through the secondary flexible tubes is controlled by a plurality of pinch valves which pinch the secondary tubes closed against closing surfaces on the cassette.
