Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for displaying and interacting with multiple open views in a mobile environment. An example method can include displaying a current pane in a maximized state and at least a first pane in a minimized state in a dock area. The current pane is a top of a stack list and displays content associated with a first location and the first pane is in a dock list and displays content associated with a second location. The minimized state for a pane is a scaled down version of the maximized state for the pane, the scale applying to the content for the pane and a size of the pane. • Publication number: 20230111196
Abstract: A system is provided for imaging an underwater environment. The system includes two or more arrays of transducer elements. Each array is operated at a fixed phase shift and varies in frequency so as to beamform multiple sonar return beams of a first range of angles and a second range of angles. The arrays can be oriented to create arcs of sonar coverage extending forward from a watercraft, from each side of the watercraft, and downward of the watercraft. Accordingly, multiple 2D live sonar images can be formed. One or more of the multiple sonar return beams can be selected and used to form sonar images that anglers are used to, without requiring separate transducer elements.

  • Publication number: 20230080955
Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing a REST-based interface and connector for use with a data analytics environment, such as, for example, a business intelligence environment, database, data warehouse, or other type of environment that supports data analytics. A data analytics environment can expose a REST connector that can be configured via a user interface, to provide a connectivity layer that works with a range of REST implementations. A user can create and/or configure one or more connections, to support access to data provided by a variety of databases or data sources. The interface and connector establishes a connection to one or more REST endpoints which can be used to access and manipulate data from a variety of cloud applications and platforms, for example SaaS sources, for analytic workloads.

  • Patent number: 11599548
Abstract: The present technology is directed to high performing trained machine learning models for information retrieval in a web store. In some embodiments, for example, when a search query is received from a user of an online retailer, a computer system associated with the online retailer accesses measurements of performance of sets of search results returned in response to previous user search queries. Each of the previous search results set is a set that was ranked by a machine learning model selected from a store of machine learning models that are each trained to rank search results. Based on the measurements of performance, the computer system selects a machine learning model to rank search results for a response to the received search query. The ranked search results are provided for output to the user.

  • Patent number: 11585921
Abstract: Provided are a sonar system and transducer assembly for producing a 3D image of an underwater environment. The sonar system may include a housing mountable to a watercraft having a transmit transducer that may transmit sonar pulses into the water. The system may include at least one sidescan transducer array in the housing that receives first and second sonar returns with first and second transducer elements and converts the first and second returns into first and second sonar return data. A sonar signal processor may then generate a 3D mesh data using the first and second sonar return data and at least a predetermined distance between the transducer elements. An associated method of using the sonar system is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20220185350
Abstract: A system of train control uses a quasi-moving block methodology for controlling operation of a plurality of trains from a remote office. The office parses the route information for each train into non-overlapping movement authorities that are issued via a communications network. As each train proceeds, it communicates with the office to automatically roll up its movement authority and release the portion of the movement authority behind the train. The office then extends the movement authority of the subsequent train to reflect the released portion of the movement authority of the leading train. The track can be divided into a series of track circuits to enable detection of broken rail or unexpected occupancy. The office segment can then control operation of trains accordingly if broken rail or unexpected occupancy is detected in the train's movement authority.
