  • Publication number: 20240102388
Abstract: A system for controlling a turbine valve is provided. The system includes a hydraulic pilot valve section being moveable in a first direction and a second direction; a main hydraulic valve section being moveable in a first direction to close the turbine valve and a second direction to open the turbine valve; a position demand indicating a desired position of the turbine valve; a first feedback indicating an actual position of the hydraulic pilot valve section; and aa second feedback indicating an actual position of the main hydraulic valve section. The system also includes a pilot valve error; a main valve error; a turbine valve error; and a pilot valve adjustment moving the hydraulic pilot valve section in response to the turbine valve error. The turbine valve error is repeatedly determined and the pilot valve adjustment repeatedly moves the hydraulic pilot valve section to minimize the turbine valve error.

  • Publication number: 20190088050
Abstract: The device controls the opening and closing of mechatronic access control barriers. It validates entry requests from identity verification mechanisms with a real-time database of authorizations. Controlling users can give, remove, and edit virtual entry keys in real-time. Keys are programmed for one-time use, specific amount of uses, or in a fixed or recurring schedule. Potential guests can request in advance a virtual key of a restricted area from controlling users. The device sends an entry notification to controlling users when their virtual keys are used.

  • Patent number: 5777997
Abstract: A method and system for transmitting audio-associated text information in a multiple-channel transmission stream is disclosed herein. The method includes the steps of receiving text information associated with a song, formatting the information into song data, inserting the song data into a control data stream associated with an audio channel carrying a particular song, multiplexing the control data stream with a data stream associated with the song, transmitting the multiplexed data stream, receiving the control data stream, decoding the control data stream to obtain text associated with the song, and displaying the text. The method utilizes an existing control stream in the multiplexed transmission stream to forward text to a receiver. The receiver therefore requires no additional hardware to display the text on a connected video screen.
