One embodiment includes receiving contextual information and querying a packaged content source for content related to the contextual information. Available content relating to the contextual information from the packaged content source is then indicated for user access.

Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a cloud-based temporary app management system. In one aspect of the invention, a cloud service provides a temporary app from a vendor. The temporary app is a mobile application that is temporarily accessible on a mobile device when a designated event (e.g. a change in the location or surroundings of the mobile device, a particular type of data stored in the mobile device, etc.) is detected by a mobile device. The cloud service receives event information from the mobile device. The event information indicates an event detected by the mobile device. The cloud service then determines whether to make the temporary app accessible on the mobile device based on an analysis of the designated event and the event information received from the mobile device.

Abstract: A method and system that enables aggregation and management of services and contents on multiple networks, is provided. In one implementation, such a method and system functionally bridges a first network and a second network such that services and contents, no matter where they come from, can be delivered to a user on one or more devices in the second network. The services and contents in the first network are converted by certain applications to behave as if they exist in the second network, so that they can be accessed by one or more devices in the second network. Such a method and system enables applications to be easily developed and distributed over the Internet using popular Web browsers as the platform for application runtime environments.

Then correlations are identified between the additional information, the contextual information and the user activity information. The correlations are used in forming a query to search for information related to the current user activity, to provide to the user.

Abstract: A configurable system brings Internet services, designed for PCs, to consumer electronics (CE) devices, and allows using external services such as Internet Services on CE devices. This reduces the need for input devices such as keyboards and mice, thereby making the configurable system suitable for CE devices. The configurable system relies on the structure of HTML/XML embedded in a Web page for information extraction by scrapping. Since cosmetic changes made to the Web site alter the embedded HTML/XML, the configurable system is updated whenever the Web site changes.

Abstract: A correlation system and method implement a framework for correlating content available from a local network with information on an external network. The system identifies information related to content available on the local network of interest to the user and also identifies one or more external sources that contain such related information. Then the system extracts data related to the identified information from the external sources, and determines correlations between the identified information and the data extracted from the external network.
