Additionally, the hook projects from a front surface to the housing. The illumination device is disposed at a lower surface of the housing and is adapted to project light below the holder and behind the musical instrument when the musical instrument is hung. Finally, the mounting device is carried by the housing and mounts the musical instrument holder to a supporting wall surface.
