The device for securing the emission control element includes a structure that surrounds the emission control element and a structure that pushes against the emission control element. The structure that pushes against the emission control element uses a system of angled grooves and pushing means to create a force that holds the emission control element in place. The device to secure loose hardware includes a length of wire, the end of which is formed into a loop around the body of the hardware.

Abstract: A system and method are provided to monitor informational resources, such as websites. A plurality of host units support one or more informational resources accessible over a network, such as the Internet. A plurality of monitoring units located on a distributed computer system are coordinated to access the network and monitor the informational resources to determine if they are accessible and to evaluate their performance. Preferably, a central control unit manages the monitoring units.
