  • Patent number: 11554718
Abstract: For driver assistance for a combination (8) with a motor vehicle (9) and a trailer (10), a first camera image (19) and a second camera image (20) are generated. A combined image (21) is generated by means of a computing unit (13) by superimposing the camera images (19, 20) such that the second camera image (20) covers a subsection of the first camera image (19), wherein a hitch angle (14) of the combination (8) is determined by means of the computing unit (13). State data of the combination (8) are determined by means of a sensor system (17) and it is determined whether the combination (8) moves forward or backward. The hitch angle (14) is determined based on the state data, if the combination (8) moves forward and based on a change of time-dependent image data, if the combination moves backward. A position of the subsection is determined depending on the hitch angle (14).

  • Patent number: 11034196
Abstract: A method of locating a wheel-mounted electronic device, such as a tire pressure monitoring device. A wireless signal is transmitted from an interrogation device from each of a plurality of interrogation locations. The signals are received by the wheel-mounted device and received signal strength is measured for each interrogation location. The wheel-mounted device then transmits, in respect of each interrogation location, a wireless signal indicating the measured signal strength. These signals are received by the interrogation device which determines from them a location of the wheel-mounted device with respect to a wheel.

  • Publication number: 20210062003
Abstract: The disclosure relates to flexible wax compositions and a method of making the same. Described herein is a wax composition containing about 20 wt % to about 45 wt % monoacylglycerides, about 28 wt % to about 40 wt % diacylglycerides, and about 10 wt % to about 45 wt % acylglyceride polymers, which contain one or more dimerized fatty acid residue and a plurality of glycerol moieties. The flexible wax composition described herein has an average creep stiffness of less than about 30 MPa and can be used in candles, paper coatings, box coatings, fruit coatings, broadsizing for OSB, tire and rubber, polyvinyl chloride piping, crayons, and personal care applications.

  • Patent number: 10485752
Abstract: A skin defense system and a skin rejuvenation and defense system. The skin rejuvenation and defense system includes a skin rejuvenation application and a skin defense application that work together synergistically to rejuvenate and defend the skin from environmental insults that can accelerate the aging process and deprive the skin of its vitality. The skin rejuvenation application invigorates, oxygenates, and detoxifies the skin. After the skin has been opened up and made receptive by the skin rejuvenation application, the skin defense application absorbs into the skin to deeply moisturize and revitalize the skin. In addition to moisturizers, emollients, and similar ingredients that improve health and appearance of the skin, the skin defense application includes ingredients that can, for instance, reverse and protect the skin from damage caused by pollutants (e.g., pollutants up to 2.5 micrometers) and pre- and pro-biotics that promote the growth and development of beneficial skin flora.

  • Patent number: 9444620
Abstract: A method, computer readable medium, and apparatus for secure application delivery includes forming at a traffic management device a session identifier in response to a first request from a client device for access to a network application. The session identifier is encrypted for sending to the client device using a session variable formed by hashing at least one physical identifier associated uniquely with the client device in response to the first request. In a second request from the client device to access the network application, the encrypted session identifier is decrypted using an updated value of the session variable. The access to the network application is provided when the decrypted session identifier matches the formed session identifier, and denied when the decrypted session identifier does not match the formed session identifier.
