  • Publication number: 20240119099
Abstract: A document re-finding system generates embeddings for concept clips provided by a user, the concept clips defining a concept for searching for content of interest to the user in a plurality of documents previously seen by the user. The re-finding system determines semantic relationships between the concept and document clips, related to respective document among the plurality of documents, based on the concept embedding and embeddings generated for the document clips. A graphical user interface depicting the semantic relationships is rendered to the user and is operable to enable re-finding a document, among the plurality of documents, having the content of interest to the user.

  • Publication number: 20240104405
Abstract: In examples, a schema augmentation system for exploratory research leverages intelligence from a machine learning model to augment such tasks by leveraging intelligence derived from machine learning capabilities. Augmenting tasks include schematization of content, such as information units and groupings of information units. Based on the schematization of such content, semantic proximities for information units are determined. The semantic proximities may be used to identify and present potentially relevant information units, for example to accelerate the exploratory research task at hand. As such, users engaged in consumption of heterogenous content (e.g., across client applications and/or content sources), may receive machine-augmented support to find potential information units.

  • Publication number: 20240098407
Abstract: A speaker assembly presents audio content to an ear canal of a user. A speaker of the speaker assembly generates positive and negative acoustic pressure waves. A first vent assembly of the speaker assembly ports the positive acoustic pressure waves to an entrance of the ear canal of the user, whereas a second vent assembly ports the negative acoustic pressure waves to an area behind a pinna of the user. The first and second vent assembly are configured to provide improved audio content playback to the user.

  • Publication number: 20240073589
Abstract: An audio device includes a first speaker and a second speaker. A front surface of a membrane of the second speaker faces a rear surface of a membrane of the first speaker. The membrane of the first speaker moves in an opposite direction than the membrane of the second speaker when the audio device outputs audio content. This configuration maintains isobaric pressure for a back volume shared between the first speaker and the second speaker, reducing vibration of the audio device when outputting audio content.

  • Patent number: 11777167
Abstract: A battery pack for a vehicle electrical system includes a casing for receiving one or more battery modules. The battery modules are insertable into a casing of the battery pack by sliding couplers along pairs of rails and are securable to the ends of the rails. After insertion, the rails thermally insulate one battery module from other battery modules coupled to the casing. In some examples, a first stiffness or a first mechanical frequency of the casing with the one or more battery modules inserted may differ from a second stiffness or a second mechanical frequency associated with a body of a vehicle or another component associated therewith by a threshold amount. Additionally, the casing may be configured with vents for venting the hot gases, such as those generated by a battery module in a thermal runaway event.

  • Publication number: 20230292896
Abstract: A protective case for a wireless tracking device featuring a flexible annular bezel. One embodiment features an annular bezel having a conforming interior channel which engages the sides of the tracking device, and an upper opening, which leaves a portion of the upper side of the tracking device exposed. Certain embodiments feature a bezel that permits the tracking device to be inserted into the protective case relatively easily, while other embodiments feature a cover which engages with a base, making removal of the tracking device impractical without damaging the case itself. One embodiment may be used with shoelaces and features a flat elastomeric surface to which graphic designs may be applied.

  • Patent number: 11758319
Abstract: An acoustic sensor includes port architecture designed to mitigate wind noise. The acoustic sensor includes a primary waveguide having two ports open to a local area surrounding the acoustic sensor. One opening of a secondary waveguide is coupled to portion of the primary waveguide, with another opening of the secondary waveguide coupled to a microphone. The secondary waveguide has a smaller cross-section than the primary waveguide. Hence, airflow is directed from a port of the primary waveguide to the other port of the primary waveguide and back into the local area, bypassing the microphone.

  • Patent number: 11541765
Abstract: A system for charging one or more batteries of a vehicle may include a charging box mounted to a vehicle to facilitate connection to a charge coupler from under the vehicle. The charge coupler may be configured to provide an electrical connection between an electrical power source and the charging box. A vehicle including the charging box may maneuver to a position above the charge coupler, after which electrical contacts of the charging box and the charge coupler may be brought into contact with one another. The charge coupler and/or the charging box may be configured to provide electrical communication between the electrical power source and the one or more batteries, so that the electrical power source may charge one or more of the batteries. Thereafter, the electrical contacts may be separated from one another, and the vehicle may maneuver away from the charge coupler.

  • Patent number: 11178481
Abstract: An ear-plug assembly presents audio content to an ear canal of a user. The audio content may be based in part on sound in a local area surrounding the user. The ear-plug assembly detects, via one or more acoustic sensors, sound in the area around the user. The sound waves travel through an aperture in a body of the ear-plug assembly and are propagated to a waveguide to the one or more acoustic sensors. The ear-plug assembly processes the detected sound data in a controller, which instructs a speaker assembly to present audio content based in part on the detected sound data. The detected sounds may be amplified, attenuated, filtered, and/or augmented when presented by the speaker assembly.

  • Patent number: 11049649
Abstract: An isolation transformer includes a transformer core. First and second through-bores extend through the transformer core from a first surface to a second surface. Each through-bore has an elongated profile with at least a portion of the elongated profile providing a respective flat winding surface. The flat winding surfaces are spaced apart by a central portion of the transformer core. The transformer is wound with a six-wire cable having a central non-conductive core. First, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth conductive wires are positioned around and adjacent to the central non-conductive core in a substantially equally spaced angular relationship. The second conductive wire is positioned between the first conductive wire and the third conductive wire; and the fifth conductive wire is positioned between the fourth conductive wire and the sixth conductive wire. The conductive wires are twisted about the central non-conductive core at a selected twist density.
