  • Publication number: 20230127254
Abstract: A warehouse dock door control system (101) has a system controller (147), an interior side unit (144), an exterior side unit (142) comprising a key repository and a key detector. The key detector is configured to detect and identify a specific vehicle key having unique identification data associated therewith. The key detector is configured to detect the presence of the key within the key repository and to read the identification data associated therewith. The controller is configured to use the identification data to determine whether the vehicle key is an authorised vehicle key. In response to the determination, the controller communicates with the interior side unit to authorise opening of the dock door and controls the exterior side unit to secure the vehicle key in the key repository to inhibit removal therefrom until a signal is received indicating that a loading or unloading process is complete.

  • Patent number: 10131397
Abstract: A vehicle O, such as a tricycle, has a pair of rear wheels 14 mounted to a first sub-frame 12, and a second sub-frame 16 pivotally coupled to the first sub-frame and arranged to pivot about a first pivot axis 18 relative to said first sub-frame. Relative rotation between the first and second sub-frames is provided, such as by one or more elastomeric couplings or bearings e.g. torsional pivot 98. At least one front wheel 22 is coupled to the second sub-frame via forks and a steering head. A seat 20 for a rider is supported by the second sub-frame. Handlebars 28 are coupled to the steering head via at least one steering member, such as a mechanical link 60 or hydraulic, magnetic or electrical link The cycle is steered by acombination of handlebar and/or lean steer. Steering can be damped by a damper 79. Handlebar steer involves manipulating the handlebars to act on the steering arm which rotates the steering head and therefore also the front wheel(s) to steer the front wheel(s).

  • Patent number: 9235428
Abstract: A computer implemented system is disclosed for providing a graphical user interface (GUI) for an application program. The system includes a renderer, a proxy, and a workflow manager. The renderer is defined to render the GUI. The proxy is defined to provide to the renderer each component necessary for rendering the GUI. The proxy appears to the renderer as a single monolithic application program. The workflow manager is defined to communicate one or more document viewers and their associated user interface components to the proxy for provision to the renderer. The document viewers and their associated user interface components represent components necessary for rendering the GUI.

  • Patent number: 8001181
Abstract: A system is disclosed for messaging between wireless mobile terminals operating on wireless carrier networks and networked computers. The mobile terminals and computers include client applications for communicating messages to one another using push-to-talk modality. A server, located on a packet network outside the wireless carrier networks, forwards messages between the mobile terminals and the computers. The messages consist of text or streaming voice. The server can also include gateways for forwarding messages from the mobile terminals and computers to external email and instant messaging (IM) users. By placing the server outside wireless carrier networks and using conventional packet network protocols such as the Internet protocol (IP), the system provides seamless inter-carrier push-to-talk and/or instant messaging between mobile terminal, networked computers, and users of third-party email and IM services.

  • Patent number: 7526410
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to conducting testing on a remote client computer by a server computer. The remote client computer is connected to the server computer through a network which allows either the remote client computer or server computer to initiate a testing session with the other. Programs resident on the remote client computer and server computer initiate the session. A graphics test tool application program is resident on the server computer. The graphics test tool application program includes a set of instructions and data used to communication to a set of instructions and data in the remote client computer. Communication in particular is performed through a communication channel which further allows graphics tests to be sent from the graphics test tool application program to the remote client computer. The graphics tests may be timed as to how long they take to be sent to the remote client computer.
