  • Publication number: 20230344830
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for increasing security of devices that leverages an integration of an authentication system with at least one corporate service. In one aspect, a request is received from a user device to authenticate a person as a particular user by the authentication system. A photo of the person attempting to be authenticated as the particular user is captured. Nodal points are mapped to the captured photo of the person attempting to be authenticated, and the nodal points from the photo are compared against a reference model for facial recognition of the particular user. It is then determined whether the nodal points match the reference model for the particular user. The present technology also includes sending a command to the user device to send data to identify the person, and/or a location of the user device.

  • Publication number: 20230330488
Abstract: Some existing health and fitness apps map athletic activity and track that activity over time and present to the athlete various aggregations of their activity. Other existing health and fitness apps create training schedules for the athlete to achieve a fitness goal. However, the training schedules provided by these apps are static in nature and provide a fixed quantity and type of exercise within a fixed schedule for the athlete to accomplish. The presently disclosed virtual athletic coach offers dynamic training schedules that can make incremental adjustments based on an athlete's performance to the training schedule over time.

  • Publication number: 20230290366
Abstract: A method for dynamically controlling enhancement of an audio stream is provided, where the audio stream defines a sequence of audio segments over time. Each audio segment defines a waveform having a plurality of waveform attributes. For each audio segment of the sequence of audio segments, the method includes: (i) determining a set of waveform-attribute values of the audio segment's waveform attributes, (ii) computing a first distance between the determined set of waveform-attribute values and a first predefined set of waveform-attribute values representative of speech, and computing a second distance between the determined set of waveform-attribute values and a second predefined set of waveform-attribute values representative of music, (iii) using the computed first and second distances as a basis to classify the audio segment as primarily speech or rather primarily music, and (iv) controlling, based on the classifying, whether or not to enhance the audio segment for output.
