  • Publication number: 20240430257
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and computer-readable media for increasing security of devices that leverages an integration of an authentication system with at least one corporate service. In one aspect, a request is received from a user device to authenticate a person as a particular user by the authentication system. A photo of the person attempting to be authenticated as the particular user is captured. Nodal points are mapped to the captured photo of the person attempting to be authenticated, and the nodal points from the photo are compared against a reference model for facial recognition of the particular user. It is then determined whether the nodal points match the reference model for the particular user. The present technology also includes sending a command to the user device to send data to identify the person, and/or a location of the user device.

  • Patent number: 12169962
Abstract: Digital image segmentation is provided. The method comprises training a neural network for image segmentation with a labeled training dataset from a first domain, wherein a subset of nodes in the neural net are dropped out during training. The neural network receives image data from a second, different domain. A vector of N values that sum to 1 is calculated for each image element, wherein each value represents an image segmentation class. A label is assigned to each image element according to the class with the highest value in the vector. Multiple inferences are performed with active dropout layers for each image element, and an uncertainty value is generated for each image element. Uncertainty is resolved according to expected characteristics. The label of any image element with an uncertainty above a threshold is replaced with a new label corresponding to a segmentation class based on domain knowledge.

  • Publication number: 20240399923
Abstract: A traction battery controller of an electrified vehicle dynamically adjusts an estimation gain based on a state-of-charge (SOC) of the traction battery and controls the vehicle according to an operating characteristic of the traction battery estimated from an equivalent circuit model of the traction battery that depends on the estimation gain. The controller may reduce the estimation gain while the SOC is low or high and may otherwise maintain the SOC. The controller may dynamically adjust the estimation gain based further on a temperature of the traction battery. The operating characteristic may be a power capability of the traction battery or an updated SOC of the traction battery.

  • Publication number: 20240342403
Abstract: The Overdose Reviver Automatic Inhaler is a method to repeatedly administer Narcan solution automatically, intranasally. When heartbeat sensors relay life-threatening low heartbeat data to a microprocessor chip the programmed functions are activated. Automatically administering atomized, pressurized Narcan solution into nostrils of an unconscious, opioid overdosed person once every two to three minutes and alert for help. The Automatic Inhaler is battery powered, automated, and mechanical. It is worn strapped to a user's neck, a nasal airline with nasal prongs, is secured in place under a user's nose via head, and nasal airline elastic straps. An electromagnetic solenoid depresses an air release valve on a pressurized air canister containing enough Narcan solution and pressurized air for at least ten one second squirts. A precautionary preemptive action for someone who knowingly is using opioids, most likely home alone. It's a method to revive oneself in case a lethal dose is ingested.

  • Patent number: 12102877
Abstract: Some existing health and fitness apps map athletic activity and track that activity over time and present to the athlete various aggregations of their activity. Other existing health and fitness apps create training schedules for the athlete to achieve a fitness goal. However, the training schedules provided by these apps are static in nature and provide a fixed quantity and type of exercise within a fixed schedule for the athlete to accomplish. The presently disclosed virtual athletic coach offers dynamic training schedules that can make incremental adjustments based on an athlete's performance to the training schedule over time.
