  • Patent number: 11940502
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to one or more particles that move within a container in response to a magnetic field. A measurement circuit is configured to output an indication of the magnetic field based on position of the one or more particles.

  • Publication number: 20240085500
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to particles that can move in response to a magnetic field. A system can include a container, particles within the container, and a magnetic structure integrated with the container. The magnetic structure can magnetically interact with both an external magnetic field and the particles. Related methods are disclosed including magnetic field detection methods based on detection of particles within a container.

  • Patent number: 11922004
Abstract: Reduced-size user interfaces for providing weather information are disclosed. At an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, indications of a location and a temperature at the location may be displayed. In some examples, a user may provide input through a touch on the touch-sensitive display and/or through a rotation of a rotatable input mechanism to display additional weather information, such as weather information for another location, another temperature, another time, and so forth. In some examples, the device may obtain data representing an upcoming activity, determine whether the activity is to begin within a threshold amount of time, and display weather information based on the upcoming activity. In some examples, the device may display an affordance at a position to indicate the time of day for which a weather condition is provided.

  • Patent number: 7990917
Abstract: A wireless communications system including a network application server; and a base station to receive an expedited request packet from a subscriber unit by way of a radio frequency interface, attempt to reserve channel resources for a traffic channel to communicate with the subscriber unit, and notify the network application server of whether the channel resources have been reserved. The base station may notify the network application server by marking the expedited request packet received from the subscriber unit, and sending the marked expedited request packet to the network application server.

  • Patent number: 6512922
Abstract: A radio telecommunications network for providing information services to a mobile subscriber (22) includes a distributed arrangement of Agent Transceiver Systems (13, 14, 15), each associated with a base station (17, 18, 19) serving a respective geographical area, and each acting as a host platform for local information services. This distributed arrangement keeps the transmission loads due to accessed information which is added to the radio communications system to a minimum. A further feature of the invention allows mobility of a subscriber's personalised details to be moved around from platform to platform as he moves from one location to another, without interfering with the usual operation of the telecommunications system. Links (20, 21, 23) to a global services platform also provide access to Internet-type services.
