  • Patent number: 11037534
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a capo, or a fretpad for a capo, for use with a stringed musical instrument. The fretpad is manufactured from a pliable material that mimics the compression of a human finger, and which prevents the instrument from going out of tune prematurely. The fretpad insert is radiused and configured to be insertable into a frame, which may be detachably connected to a capo body.

  • Publication number: 20200383866
Abstract: An apparatus that enables most common rollers to be utilized to apply shear force to a user by placing a roller into a pair of braces which each include a base support structure which is configured to receive a roller, wherein each base support structure has a rotation prevention mechanism which may be utilized to brace the roller, so that when a user applies a lateral force to the roller, the roller does not noticeably rotate. Each brace prevents rotation in one direction, so when each brace is oriented in a different direction, the roller is thereby prevented from rotating in either direction.

  • Patent number: 9999315
Abstract: Various beverage preparation machines having a multi-chambered basket unit are shown. The basket unit can be configured to accept multiple cartridge configurations. For example, some embodiments are configured to receive a first cartridge configuration in a first chamber of the basket unit and a second configuration in a second chamber of the basket unit. In various embodiments, the basket unit can rotate to allow selective accessibility of the first and second chambers. This can facilitate loading the cartridges into the appropriate chamber, such as loading the first cartridge configuration into the first chamber and the second cartridge configuration into the second chamber.
