  • Patent number: 10037316
Abstract: A method for processing email is presented here. The method begins by receiving email capture criteria for incoming email messages directed to a destination tenant of a multi-tenant database system. The method continues by comparing the email capture criteria to searchable information conveyed in the incoming email messages. When the searchable information in a candidate email message of the incoming email messages matches the email capture criteria by at least a threshold amount, the candidate email message is identified as a matched email message. The method continues by saving a copy of the matched email message for diagnostic analysis, and performing incoming email processing on the matched email message.

  • Publication number: 20180160251
Abstract: Systems and methods for capturing audio which can be used in applications such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality systems. Some systems may include a plurality of distributed monitoring devices in an environment, each having a microphone and a location tracking unit. The system can capture audio signals while also capturing location tracking signals which indicate the locations of the monitoring devices over time during capture of the audio signals. The system can generate a representation of at least a portion of a sound wave field in the environment based on the audio signals and the location tracking signals. The system may also determine one or more acoustic properties of the environment based on the audio signals and the location tracking signals.

  • Patent number: 9923629
Abstract: A self-deploying and self-healing subsea network comprises one or more homing vehicles, one or more data repeaters, and one or more independent guidable homing systems configured to assist the homing vehicles in localization of and docking with the data repeaters. A plurality of data repeaters are deployed in a body of water and, at a predetermined time, a homing vehicle released from a first data repeater and instructed to transit to and dock with a predetermined second data repeater. After docking, a network cable is operatively placed into communication between the first data repeater and the second data repeater.

  • Patent number: 9869998
Abstract: A remote control system for controlling a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) may comprise an ROV wireless transceiver operatively in communication with one or more wireless transceivers deployed at a distance from the ROV. The remote wireless transceivers are operatively in communication with one or more ROV consoles and ROV may be operated from the remote location by operatively connecting the first ROV console to a second wireless data transceiver; establishing wireless data communications between the second wireless data transceiver and the ROV wireless transceiver; and controlling a predetermined ROV function at the ROV from the first ROV console via communications established between the second wireless data transceiver and the ROV wireless transceiver. Two or more such remote wireless data transceivers and/or remote ROV consoles may be provided for redundancy, ancillary functions, or the like.

  • Patent number: 9486120
Abstract: A backpack vacuum has a body made up of an upper cannister and a lower motor compartment. The vacuum body is supported on a wearer's back by a harness. A vacuum motor draws air from an opening in the upper cannister through a primary air flow path out an exhaust outlet from the lower motor compartment. An adjustable air flow opening in the cannister sidewalls creates a secondary air flow path through the vacuum body which creates a cooling air region adjacent the wearer's back in use.

  • Publication number: 20150161543
Abstract: Navigation devices in rental vehicles are used to assist in predicting the probability of when each car will be returned to the car rental company. The probability of each car being returned is based upon is location relative to the return facility, direction of travel, and whether the navigation device is currently routed to the return facility. It is not necessary to predict accurately when a specific car will be returned, although one could implement it that way. Rather, this is primarily a statistical prediction over a large number of vehicles that will inform the car rental company how many vehicles of each type will be returned at a given time.
