  • Publication number: 20240083115
Abstract: A filament conditioning system or method for FDM 3D printing uses a filament tube with vent holes extending through a sidewall of the filament tube to a filament passthrough in the filament tube. A desiccant barrier contains the filament tube and includes vent holes through a sidewall of the desiccant barrier, and a cover contains the desiccant barrier and a desiccant in a space between the cover and the desiccant barrier. A heating element and temperature sensor may adjacent the filament tube within the desiccant barrier to heat a filament in the filament passthrough. The filament tube, the desiccant barrier, and the cover may be coaxial tubes held together with end caps, the end caps also providing vent holes and openings for electrical leads.

  • Publication number: 20160245604
Abstract: The present invention provides a firearm bullet button magazine release tool assembly with a tool tip and a stabilizing base. The tool tip is configured to activate a firearm magazine release assembly thereby releasing a detachable magazine. The stabilizing base increases stability, and secures the tool tip to the magazine body. The magazine release assembly also includes a threaded rod to provide mechanical stiffness to the tool tip, and is coupled to a magazine body or a magazine attachment. The tool tip can be rounded and tapered to aid insertion into and withdrawal from the magazine release assembly of the firearm. The magazine release assembly can also include a buffer to provide flexibility for absorbing impact forces without permanent damage.

  • Patent number: 8925233
Abstract: The present invention provides an AR variant rifle with a left-sided magazine-release assembly which includes a mag-release catch, a left-sided tool-actuated mag-release actuator, a left-sided actuator cover and a mag-release spring. The actuator is operatively coupled to a mag-release catch and can be actuated by a mag-release tool thereby causing a detachable magazine to be released from a magazine well of the rifle. The actuator cover is configured to be mounted on a left side of the rifle and provides support and substantially shields the mag-release actuator thereby permitting the mag-release actuator to be actuated with any mag-release tool from the left side the lower receiver while preventing the mag-release actuator from being actuated without use of any mag-release tool.
