Abstract: An NFC reader in a communication device reads a first NFC tag on a first conference device when the communication device is brought within proximity of the first NFC tag. The communication device communicates information read from the first NFC tag and information acquired by the communication device to a conference server. The conference server utilizes the communicated information read from the first NFC tag and the communicated information acquired by the communication device to configure a conference call between the first conference device and the second conference device. The communication device, the first conference device and the second conference device are separate and distinct. The communication device executes a module that handles the communication of the information read from the first NFC tag and the information acquired by the communication device. The module is executed when the communication device is brought within the proximity of the first NFC tag.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are generally drawn towards facilitating interaction between a user and the environment in which the user is located. Embodiments of the invention contemplate the collection of information pertaining to an environment in which a user affiliated with a client device is located and the analysis of such information in the service of facilitating user-environment interaction. Embodiments of the present invention may trigger a particular output comprehensible to a user wherein the particular output is determined by the information collected from the environment. Embodiments of the invention may also trigger a modification to the environment through communication with elements within the environment wherein the particular modification is determined by information corresponding to a user and the user's environment.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for playing back user-defined commands is described. In one aspect, a method includes detecting that a user has initiated playback of a user-defined command on a computing device; identifying an entry that is stored in a log associated with the user-defined command, the entry including data representing a user's interactions with a user interface of the computing device and data representing an action to be performed by the computing device; determining an action that is to be performed by the computing device based on the data included in the entry; and performing the action.
