The system includes: a plurality of commodity resources; an availability calculator; a resource aggregator, wherein each resource, depending on availability data from the availability calculator, is aggregated to represent an aggregated resource; a resource controller, wherein each commodity resource, depending on availability, is selectively operated by the resource controller in response to a resource instruction; and an interlace to provide information regarding the aggregated resource and receive resource instructions regarding the aggregated resource for the resource controller.

Abstract: An intravascular stent (50) is provided for use in conjunction with a magnetic resonance imaging system. The stent is constructed to minimize the radio-frequency cage effect which results from currents being induced in stents when subjected to magnetic resonance related radio frequency signals. The stent includes a mesh of electrically conductive material and a non-conductive materiai disposed within the mesh for connecting the mesh in a generally tubular arrangement such that a net current flowing through the mesh is approximately zero and the RE cage effect is minimized.

Abstract: A capacitor element is made by interwinding electrode foils and non-porous dielectric films, without interposed paper wicks. The foils and films are wound at different tensions so that transverse passages are formed between adjacent surfaces within the element; when the element is subsequently impregnated with dielectric liquid, those passages facilitate entry of the liquid between the various foils and films and assist proper permeation. The dielectric film and dielectric liquid are preferably polypropylene and mineral oil respectively.
