    Abstract: A kit for converting a cylindrical container into a subterranean animal shelter includes a cradle for supporting and stabilizing the container when placed on its side; a curtained door; and a piece of material, typically netting, large enough to drape the container, forming a tent, and to support the placement of soil to substantially cover the container with a mound of dirt to permit the sewing of vegetation or laying of sod, thus creating a secure and comfortable subterranean shelter.
