Abstract: A convertible sled for use by a rider. The convertible sled includes a body, a mounting unit coupled to the body for coupling plural wheels or plural sledding members, and a steering unit moveably coupled to the body at the front portion of the body such that, when the convertible sled is arranged in a first configuration, the steering unit is operatively coupled to at least two of the plural pairs of wheels, as steering wheels, for steering the convertible sled. Further, the steering wheels on a first side of the body pivot about a first common point and the steering wheels on a second side of the body pivot about a second common point different from the first common point. Moreover, when the convertible sled is arranged in the second configuration, the steering unit is operatively coupled to a portion of the plural sledding members for steering the convertible sled.
