The protective layer (40) is formed from a fibre-free material or a substantially fibre-free material. The invention relates to a chemical composition for forming a protective layer (40) of a hollow body (10) for channelling media, in particular chemically and/or mechanically aggressive media, said protective layer protecting against chemical and/or mechanical attacks. Furthermore, the invention relates to method for producing a hollow body (10) for channelling media, in particular chemically and/or mechanically aggressive media, for example, of the chemical industry and/or the process industry.
