Abstract: Systems and methods for reliably migrating a virtual machine (VM) are provided. The method comprises receiving overhead and reliability factors for hosts in a hosting fabric; determining a plurality of viable migration paths for migrating a source VM from a source host to a target host in the hosting fabric, wherein the migration is accomplished through a series of migration phases, wherein a phase involves migration of the source VM from one host to another host in a migration path; determining total overhead costs associated with each migration path; and selecting a migration path from among said plurality of migration paths according to the overhead costs and reliability factors, wherein the reliability of the migration over the selected path is monitored and controlled by dynamically allocating and de-allocating one or more replicas of the source VM on one or more hosts in the migration fabric.

Abstract: Architecture for central e-commerce authorization and verification using multiple Keys/Pins storage and central action verification means. Action Verification is provided between Action Initiating Party (12) and a central Verification Authority (16), wherein action includes a transaction, message, command, approval, identification request, financial transaction and data transmittal. Wherein action is authorized and initiated by an Entity (14) which can be an individual, company, vendor or other organization, which authorizes by giving a PIN, the execution, processing or delivering of an action. The action can be requested and/or transmitted and/or delivered electronically or mechanically. Verification information is stored in a Verification Authority system, accessed by Entities and the Action Initiating parties. The Entity stores in the Verification Authority sets of Personal Identification Numbers (PINS/Keys), and as a verification option, personal data parameters.

Abstract: A telecommunication device for the deaf includes a standard size computer keyboard and is operable to function either as a standard TDD or a standard computer input device. The device includes a housing with a computer keyboard having alpha, numeric and function keys mounted on the housing. A TDD communication interface receives telecommunications for the deaf from and transmits telecommunications for the deaf to a telephone line wherein the interface is mounted in the keyboard housing. A mode switch mounted on the housing is actuable to indicate operation of the device in one of a number of modes wherein a controller is responsive to the mode switch to echo keyboard inputs to either a first computer, a second computer or a TDD communication interface depending upon the mode of operation.
