  • Publication number: 20240127339
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods and computer systems for an electronic transaction platform that enables the buying and/or selling of securities by users. The methods and systems relate to controlling communication of information during an electronic communication session for trading a financial instrument between an initiating user and one or more invitee users with the assistance of a dealer user or other intermediate entity. When a dealer with whom the initiating user has a relationship does not have a relationship with invitee users that may desire to trade for the security, a second dealer can be included in the electronic communication session, where the second dealer has a relationship with such invitee users. Various levels of participation are available for each user and correspond to what information each user is provided during the electronic communication session.

  • Publication number: 20240084659
Abstract: An acoustic actuator for scale removal and prevention in a wellbore is described herein. For example, a system can include a tubing string deployed downhole in a wellbore. A downhole tool can be coupled to the tubing string. An acoustic actuator can be coupled to the tubing string and positioned proximate to the downhole tool. The acoustic actuator can generate an acoustic signal that can vibrate the tubing string to generate a fluidic disturbance in downhole fluid within the tubing string for removing contaminants from, or preventing formation of contaminants, on the downhole tool.

  • Publication number: 20240083686
Abstract: A linear motor conveyor system with alternate drive. The system includes: at least one linear motor track section; at least one alternate drive track section having the same configuration as the linear motor track section but incorporating an alternate drive mechanism; a plurality of moving elements configured to move along the linear motor track section and alternate drive track section; and a control system for controlling the moving elements to move on the linear motor track section and the alternative drive track section. The alternate drive track section may include: a belt drive including a belt, a belt drive motor and a friction element on the moving element to engage with the belt such that movement of the belt causes the moving element to move along the track section due to friction. The alternate drive track section may alternatively include a simplified linear motor track section.

  • Publication number: 20240079473
Abstract: A method for forming a transistor with an emitter, intrinsic base, and collector. The base includes a semiconductor layer doped with a conductivity dopant to provide for a lower resistivity path to the intrinsic base. After the formation of a layer over a substrate, an emitter window opening is formed in the layer. The semiconductor layer is formed through the opening by a deposition process. A portion of the semiconductor layer is then removed. An emitter electrode is formed that includes at least a portion located in the opening. A remaining portion of the semiconductor layer is in a conductive path to the intrinsic base.

  • Publication number: 20240029111
Abstract: Techniques described herein provide for a live advertising processing engine service to act as an intermediary between client applications and advertising networks. The live advertising processing engine service can provide an interface with which the client can interact, via an application programming interface (API) or directly through the use of a standardized language, thereby allowing client applications to receive advertisement data without the need to be customized to communicate with specific advertising networks. The live advertising processing engine service can further track where, in playback the live content, a client currently is, to indicate to the client—or other application—when advertisement breaks are and/or provide supplemental advertisement information to enable the client to provide a rich user experience.

  • Publication number: 20230377075
Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and/or methods for receiving historical trading data associated with previously executed trade transactions for a financial instrument by a plurality of candidate invitee users. Trading intentions are received from the candidate invitee users and a score representative of a likelihood of successfully trading the financial instrument is modelled for each candidate invitee user based on inputting into a machine learning model the trading intentions and the historical trading data of each candidate invitee user.
