    Abstract: There is provided a system and method of examination of a semiconductor specimen. The method includes obtaining a group of defect candidates associated with respective inspection locations represented in an inspection coordinate system; using a trained machine learning (ML) model to provide, for each defect candidate, a probability of the defect candidate being a defect of interest (DOI), and ranking the group of defect candidates to an ordered list according to respective probabilities thereof, in response to a part of the ordered list of defect candidates being reviewed by a review tool in accordance with an order thereof, receiving a predefined number of DOIs associated with respective review locations represented in a review coordinate system; and calculating an offset between the review coordinate system and the inspection coordinate system based on respective inspection and review locations associated with the predefined number of DOIs.

When used during affinity or cation exchange chromatography for the purification of a protein of interest, such as an antibody, the wash buffer significantly improves viral clearance from the preparation, while also reducing the levels of host cell proteins and protein aggregates. Following affinity or cation exchange chromatography with the wash buffer, the protein of interest may be further purified using other chromatography and filtration operations.

    Abstract: A method and system is provided to enable precise object control for performing tasks on touch-screen devices by using only a finger. Through deriving an action-point by adding a user-definable directional offset to the touch-point, the software program can display a graphic which represents a virtual tool with its functional part located at the derived action-point and its other end extending close to or under the fingertip. Visually, the spatial relation between the virtual tool and the fingertip makes the user feel the virtual tool is directly operated by the fingertip. As the virtual tool can be programmed to move along with the user's fingertip point by point, it enables the software to perform the intended task (for example, drawing a curve) as precise as the device can detect the change in the touch location of the fingertip. Furthermore, allowing the user to customize the size and orientation of the virtual tool enables greater user control and comfort.
