  • Patent number: 6749270
Abstract: Device and method for controlling at least one operating-dynamics variable of a vehicle in closed loop. The device includes a braking system which contains a reservoir for accommodating a braking medium, and at least one brake circuit. The brake circuit includes first valve arrangements on the output side and a second valve arrangement on the incoming side. Wheel brake cylinders allocated to the brake circuit are connected to the first valve arrangements. The reservoir is connected to the second valve arrangement. The device includes a system with which the wheel brake cylinder exhibiting the greatest brake pressure is ascertained for the at least one brake circuit. If a driver-independent brake actuation exists, then the brake pressure of the wheel brake cylinder exhibiting the greatest brake pressure is adjusted by appropriate driving of the second valve arrangement.

  • Patent number: 5371677
Abstract: A method is described for determining the slip angles .alpha..sub.i and/or the cornering forces F.sub.S of a braked vehicle. Starting from a simplified vehicle model and using the wheel speeds V.sub.Ri, the steering angle .beta., the yaw rate .phi. and the master brake cylinder pressure P.sub.HB2 or the wheel brake pressure P.sub.i as measured variables, the desired variables are determined as estimated variables.

  • Patent number: 4526018
Abstract: A knitting cam unit and transfer cam unit combination for V-bed flat knitg machines wherein needle butts of the needle bodies of slider needles are selectively lowerable in the needle channels of the needle beds by means of a needle selection device, and wherein the slider needles have sliders provided with slider butts and arranged for the donation of stitches, comprises stationary and movable cam elements for engagement with the needle butts and the slider butts, and also comprises pressure cam elements. In order to be able to carry out any combination of stitch formation and tuck loop formation for each traverse of the carriage, and in order to be able to transfer any stitches, pure knitting cam units and transfer cam units are provided. These define cam channels for the butts arranged symmetrically with respect to each cam unit central transverse axis.

  • Patent number: 4513588
Abstract: A flat knitting machine for the production of knitted pieces with intarsia comprises a yarn guide with a yarn guide sheave mounted to be vertically displaceable on a yarn guide box, and a slider on the yarn guide box and which is displaceable horizontally and is arranged to displace the yarn guide vertically.

  • Patent number: 4463578
Abstract: A single or multiple cam unit for knitting machines, with needle feet of knitting needles selectively lowerable by means of a needle selector device into the needle channels of the needle beds, comprises fixed and movable cam elements of the cam units (D) and pressure cam elements (17, 18, 19, 20) for each cam unit (D) cooperating with the needle selector device. In order to effect a transfer of stitches independently of the carriage traverse direction and independently of the transfer direction towards the front, towards the rear or in both directions at the same time, each cam unit (D) is constructed symmetrical about the central axis (M) of the cam unit (D), each cam unit (D) includes a cam element (8) oscillatable in the cam plane for extending the needles during knit-stitch formation as well as a controllable cam element (6) for tuck-stitch formation and, in each cam element (D), fixed transfer cam elements (27,28) and fixed acceptor cam elements (24,23) for stitch transfer are provided.
