    Abstract: A torque transmission device whereby eccentric drive rollers engage a raceway disposed within a driven wheel. The wheel's rim has a rolling surface with teeth disposed adjacent to this surface. The wheel's rolling surface engages a fixed surrounding raceway and the wheel's teeth engage a fixed ring of teeth that are adjacent to the raceway. The drive rollers engage the wheel's raceway in a manner that transmits torque to the wheel with leverage thereby substantially reducing the force transmitted to the teeth.
