  • Patent number: 4915570
Abstract: A body for a recycling truck has a plurality of interior movable partitions dividing the interior of the body into compartments. The partitions are hinged at their top edges to pivot rearward of the body. The partitions are locked using a pneumatically activated lever, and the partitions may be locked and unlocked remotely. A trough is located alongside the body, and the trough has removable buckets or movable interior partitions so that trough divisions correspond to the interior partitions of the body. The roof has a movable panel enabling the trough contents to be dumped within the body, and the trough is operated by a driven chain and sprocket mechanism located at either end of it.

  • Patent number: 4259794
Abstract: In a snowplow having a steel blade and an auxiliary blade of elastomeric material which can be moved pivotally from an inoperative to an operative position, power means are provided for raising and lowering the steel blade between first and second working positions. In the second working position the scraping edge of the steel blade is raised from the ground and the auxiliary blade is pivotally moved into cooperative alignment with it, the blade structure as a whole being tilted forwardly to change the angle of attack of the scraping blade.

  • Patent number: 4254564
Abstract: In a snowplow of the type having a forwardly mounted plowblade which is reversible for left hand or right hand operation, the plowblade is a composite assembly of blade members comprising a fixedly mounted scoop blade and a deflector pivotally mounted so as to be tiltable about an axis perpendicular to the scoop blade. Hydraulic cylinders for tilting the deflector about its axis are cooperatively coupled to a pair of hydraulic cylinders for rotating the plowblade between its left hand and right hand operative positions, the hydraulic connections being such that when either end of the plowblade is brought to a trailing position the corresponding end of the deflector is raised.
