  • Publication number: 20240340034
Abstract: A device including a microcontroller and an antenna for capturing power during one or more energy harvesting cycles. The power is transferred to a power storage of the device such that when the power storage has an amount of power the microcontroller performs processing for tracking a location and a condition a package to which the device is attached. The device further includes a transmitter that uses instructions from said microcontroller and said captured power from said one or more energy harvesting cycles. The transmitter is configured to communicate over a network the location and the condition of the package to a remote compute. When the device and package move along one or more geolocations, said device uses said one or more energy harvesting cycles to communicate to the remote compute updates for said location and condition of the package.

  • Publication number: 20240265789
Abstract: A method for providing real-time recommendations to user in a shopping environment involves sampling a shopping environment using video cameras to generate video features related to a shopper in connection to an item, the sampling input to a machine learning model to create labels related to a state of a scenario, the scenario including the shopper handling the item. Supplemental information is provided to the shopper in connection with the item. The makeup of the supplemental information may be sourced from online service or device associated with the shopper. The supplemental information may be delivered to the shopper, or to a shopper-aware display in the store, or elsewhere. • Patent number: 12015436
Abstract: A device is provided that includes a persistent memory, a microcontroller and a power source configured to generate power in response to energy harvesting. The power is transferred to a power storage of the device such that when the power storage has an amount of power the microcontroller performs processing of a part of a task resulting in state data related to the task stored to the persistent memory in response to a first cycle of energy harvesting. In response to one or more additional cycles of energy harvesting, the device continues performance of the task by retrieving the state data for the part of the task from the persistent memory and resulting in assembly of a payload that comprises an update to software running on the device.

  • Patent number: 11975631
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for cloud processing data streamed from a vehicle and a home (e.g., any location) associated with a user account. One method includes receiving a data stream from the vehicle entity, where the data stream from the vehicle entity includes metadata from one or more data producing objects of the vehicle entity. And, receiving a data stream from the home entity, where the data stream from the home entity includes metadata from one or more data producing objects of the home entity. The method includes accessing action conditions associated with a user account. The action conditions identify a position where at least one or more states of the metadata from each of the home entity and the vehicle entity intersect. And, each action condition identifies a type or types of control information to be processed. The method includes processing the received metadata from the vehicle entity and the home entity.
