Abstract: A tether for towing a medical support structure relative to a wheelchair. The inventive device includes a wheelchair mounting bracket securable to an associated wheelchair. A support mounting assembly is pivotally coupled to the wheelchair mounting bracket and extends therefrom for coupling to a medical support structure, such as an IV pole or the like. The device permits an individual to tow the medical support structure behind the wheelchair without necessitating a manual grasping of the support structure during movement of the wheelchair.
