  • Patent number: 5794901
Abstract: Functional component usable for demonstration and/or training purposes which can be releasably secured to the mounting face of a support base (1). It is provided with a clamping device (8) which is brought into engagement with a mounting recess (3) of support base (1), which is activated by rotating an actuating element (12). A downwardly extending clamping head (18) is mounted on the actuating element which is insertable into the mounting recess (3) and which can be positioned by rotating in such a manner that it engages behind two retaining protrusions in the mounting recess (3). By a further rotation of the actuating element, the functional element is clamped against the surface of the support base (1).

  • Patent number: 4606685
Abstract: A router comprises a cage supporting a drive unit having a shaft on which a cutter can be fixed. A rest plate is provided with an aperture for moving the cutter therethrough. The rest plate is connected to the cage through two guide columns on which it is displaceable in axial directions of the cutter and arrestable in a selected position. The rest plate is a hollow structure open downwardly where it is closed by a detachable cover having a smooth outer surface. A cavity of the plate communicates with and encircles the aperture 21 for the cutter and grows toward an exhaust connection which extends tangentially to the cutter, i.e. in the direction in which the millings are thrown. The exhaust connection can be connected to an exhauster. Laterally on the rest plate, an adjustable slide stop may be provided having an angled leg which can be brought into a position flush with the bottom surface of the rest plate or moved downward therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4566830
Abstract: The spindle can be rotated by way of a set wheel, and thus displaced within the spindle guide. At the end of this displacement, the spindle butts against one of the set screws of a turret stop provided on the rest plate. The spindle can be locked to the respective set screw by way of a swing extension. The spindle may be hollow to pass therethrough a tool and finely adjust the set screw already locked to the spindle.

  • Patent number: 4543866
Abstract: A saw table outfit is made up of a table frame manufactured using lengths of aluminum section. There is a base plate mounted on the frame for supporting a power saw. In the base plate there is a gap or hatch which is covered by a plate with a slot in it for the blade of the power saw. Under the base plate stop and guide elements for the power saw are formed by the material of the plate. The plate and hatch are formed with plural interlocking teeth and the relative position between the plate and hatch can be changed by selecting which teeth of the plate and hatch to interlock.
