  • Publication number: 20030187874
Abstract: A portfolio creation and management tool creates and manages a portfolio of intellectual property assets of a global entity having sub-entities located in various localities around the world. The sub-entities have a legal relationship to the entity, by contract or by law of a an internationally recognized jurisdiction. A network connection connects a sub-entity of the global entity residing in more than one jurisdiction. A portfolio application residing on a central server downloads from the network, stores and maintains data representative of the intellectual property assets of the global entity, including data internal to at least one sub-entity. The portfolio application provides segments that combine one or more intellectual property assets into a category that has a market relevance to the global entity and provides objects that represent assets of an external entity.

  • Publication number: 20030182141
Abstract: Global intellectual property (IP) portfolio administration is provided through document administration. A set of statuses are generated that each define at least one action designed to advance the file in a particular jurisdiction. A process flow is developed that incorporates, as elements, statuses from the set relevant to a plurality of the jurisdictions in such a manner that is designed to accomplish a procedure codified by the jurisdictions to advance the file in the particular jurisdiction. A status is assigned from the set of statuses for the file according to the process flow, wherein the document is administered in accordance with the assigned status, thereby administering the global IP portfolio through document administration.

  • Patent number: 5411415
Abstract: A shielded plug connector includes at least one shielded cable having a cable shielding, a plug or socket insert having a metal collar, and a one-piece, one-shell, metal shielding housing. The shielding housing has a plug side at which the plug or socket insert is disposed. The plug side has an end surface and bearing points for the metal collar being recessed inwardly relative to the plug-side end surface, for end-surface contacting of the shielding housing with an appliance wall only at the plug-side end surface. The shielding housing has a connection side with a connection region for connecting the at least one shielded cable. The connection region has a connection-side end and a transverse wall. The transverse wall is recessed inwardly relative to the connection-side end, it has at least one lead-through formed therein and it is in direct end contact with the cable shielding.

  • Patent number: 4397035
Abstract: A housing for a radio transmission receiver for very high frequencies, specifically for the 30 GHz range. The housing contains alignable antennas for dual directions. The housing is water-tight and contains a complete transmitter-receiver so that only modulation signals and a feed voltage are supplied from the outside. A compact and electrically efficient internal format, particularly of the radio frequency unit, is a principle feature of the invention.
