    Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions suitable for oral use to relieve pain associated with teething in infants and young children. The compositions include a cooling agent in a base formulation that is configured for application to the gums and surrounding tissue and can remain in place for a time sufficient to relive painful sensations, including those arising from teething. The present disclosure further provides methods for relieving pain and/or discomfort in an infant or young child, such as pain and/or discomfort associated with teething.
