  • Patent number: 9511716
Abstract: A vehicle side bar end cap assembly comprised of an end cap having an annular skirt, an adapter having an engagement sleeve and mounting body, and a tubular rail having at least one open end. The end cap is configured to correspond and removably attach to a mounting surface located on the mounting body of the adapter. The engagement sleeve is configured to removably, frictionally, and circumferentially engage the tubular rail. The mounting body includes an annular flange having a first surface for engaging the open end of the tubular rail, an opposing second surface for engaging the annular skirt, and an external edge. The external surface of the tubular rail, the external annular flange edge, and the external surface of the end cap define a flush connection surface about the open end of the tubular rail after complete installation of the end cap assembly.

  • Publication number: 20160153709
Abstract: A beverage held in a container is rapidly cooled by placing the container in a flexible sleeve defining a sleeve chamber that is cooled, either directly or by a secondary loop of heat transfer fluid, by a closed refrigeration circuit. An agitation assembly is selectively operable to oscillate the sleeve about a yaw axis. During active cooling, a cooled fluid (such as refrigerant or a secondary heat transfer fluid) flows through the sleeve chamber while the agitation assembly is simultaneously operated to rapidly cool the beverage held within the container.

  • Patent number: 8604367
Abstract: A circuit breaker comprises a housing containing a trip mechanism, a handle coupled to the trip mechanism and movable between on and off positions, and a lock-off mechanism capable of holding the handle in its off position. The lock-off mechanism includes a bracket adapted to be mounted on the circuit breaker housing adjacent the movable handle, and a slide mounted on the bracket for movement parallel to the movement of the handle when the handle is moved from the off position to the on position. The slide projects into the path of movement of the handle for engaging the handle, and the bracket and the slide form openings that register with each other when the projecting portion of the slide is proximate the handle in the off position. The registered openings are sized and shaped to receive the shackle of a padlock for locking the slide to the bracket, and thus locking the handle in the off position.

  • Patent number: 8567447
Abstract: A multipartite mechanical press is presented, preferably bipartite for flanged connections that allows the handling of flanged connections on pipes for addition/removal of elements to/from the line, such as filters, plates, flow regulators, measurement elements, orifice plates and valves. The multipartite design allows a totally mechanical installation, without the need for any type of modification to the pipeline, or by destructive procedures of removal or addition of material. For installation of the multipartite mechanical press requires the existence of flanged connections in the pipel in question. The operation of the press is totally manual, i.e. operation does not require the use of mechanisms activated by any electrical, pneumatic, fuel-based, etc. means.

  • Publication number: 20120104718
Abstract: A tubular side bar and mounting system may have a plurality of separate components that allow the tubular side bar to be mounted to a truck or other vehicle by one person. The system may include one or more mounting brackets that can be mounted to the truck before mounting a tubular side bar. After the mounting brackets are secured to the truck, the tubular side bar is then mounted to the mounting brackets. In this manner, a single person may install the tubular side bar to the truck. To attach the mounting bracket to the tubular side bar, the mounting bracket may be clamped along any point of an elongate channel formed in the tubular side bar to account for trucks with different mounting places. One configuration of the running board can be mounted to different trucks having different mounting places configuration.
