Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for producing a sangria on an industrial scale and the resulting composition, which has a characteristic that allows the homemade taste of a sangria to be maintained, and at the same time it can be stored without changes in its appearance.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing sangria on an industrial scale, and to the resulting composition. The method comprises adding water and sugar at a ratio of 500 kg to 500 kg to a tank formed by a centrifugal pump and blades of 3000 kg, stirring until dissolved, and subsequently passing same through a stirred tank with the injection of nitrogen, into which the remainder of the water and wine are introduced. Spices, such as water/alcohol-based cinnamon and orange flavouring, and lactic acid are added and the mixture is stirred for two hours. The mixture is passed through a tangential filter and left to rest for less than 24 hours. The mixture is passed through a 0.45-micrometre amicrobic filter, pumped by a Velcorin (dimethyl dicarbonate (DMDC)) pump.
