  • Patent number: 11611445
Abstract: A technique, comprising: identifying, at a node forming part of a group of nodes operating a distributed ledger comprising a block chain, a decision to retrospectively change a first smart contract prescribing one or more changes in the ledger already recorded in one or more existing blocks of the blockchain; and, without changing any existing blocks of the blockchain, updating the ledger by adding to the current end of the blockchain a new block indicating a new state of the ledger determined by a re-execution of all operations, according to the first smart contract and one or more other smart contracts, recorded in one or more blocks of the blockchain after a block recording an operation of the first smart contract, while taking into account the change to the first smart contract.

  • Publication number: 20220008160
Abstract: A biopsy marker may include three shaped portions arranged sequentially along an axis, each shaped portion having a first surface and a second surface parallel to the first surface. A first narrow portion connects a first of the three shaped portions to a second of the three shaped portions. A second narrow portion connects the second of the three shaped portions to a third of the three shaped portions. The first narrow portion is twisted about the axis such that the first surface of the first shaped portion is at a first angle to the first surface of the second shaped portion. • Patent number: 11221907
Abstract: A system for triage and response to a second system's malfunction is disclosed. The system determines a possible present or future disruption to a service provided by the second system; automatically searches historical records regarding similar disruptions; and provides an interactive, aggregated user interface comprising many tools to display results of the search, log actions already taken, and receive commands from human operators for seamless intervention in cloud-based or on-premises systems. The determination may be based on a statistical anomaly in the performance of the second system, or alternatively may be based on input from a human user, whose communication undergoes text analysis to determine possible matches.

  • Patent number: 11216861
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating social networking recommendations. A color preference of a first user may be determined from a color palette of a first image associated with the user and/or a color palette of an item associated with the user. Other users may be identified that have a similar color preference as the first user based at least in part on the determined color preference of the first user. Interactions between the first user and one or more other users having similar color preferences with respect to the first user may be facilitated. • Patent number: 10517906
Abstract: The invention relates to the fields of application of health, biotechnology and nutrition, the aim of the invention being to provide a gelatinous mixture of probiotics and prebiotics with synergic symbiotic action for the treatment of chronic renal disease, the characteristics and components thereof reducing the concentration of uremic toxins, improving the renal function of the patient with an increase in urea, creatinine, uric acid, p-cresols or indoles in the blood. The gelatinous mixture of probiotics and prebiotics with synergic symbiotic action for the treatment of chronic renal disease is easier to administrate orally as it does not require the consumption of liquids for the administration thereof, reducing liquid retention. Another advantage of the present invention is the fact that it refers to live and active bacteria. The present invention is also used a primary source of food with known prebiotic effects, an element which is not considered in other inventions; it is not in a pharmaceutical form.

  • Patent number: 10417356
Abstract: Features are disclosed for dynamically generating enhanced content showing an item to simulate a physics property of the item via an interaction that will initiate such interactive features. A physics model may be generated to enhance existing content. To generate the physics model, the system analyzes the content such as to detect a feature of the item (e.g., zipper on a clothing item or button on an electronic device item) shown in the content. Some aspects also consider the access device rendering the enhanced content to ensure the enhanced content is appropriately selected and formatted for presentation via the access device.

  • Patent number: 10366528
Abstract: The display of 3D-representations involves navigation and interaction with users engaged with the display. Points of interest (POIs), as applied to areas of interest for a 3D-representation, are anchored to the 3D-representation on the display and are moveable in synchrony with the 3D-representation navigation. POIs are presented in which interactive actions are associated with the POIs. When a user selects one of the interactive actions associated with a POI, the selection can prompt the display of a new 3D-representation of an item related to the 3D-representation to which the POI is anchored, thereby improving access and analysis about information for related items.

  • Patent number: 10255295
Abstract: Systems and methods are described that validate color information in metadata associated with an image. Color information associated with images, in metadata, may need to be validated because there may be mistakes in the metadata. Color names associated with colors may be based on human generated data or human surveys. Individual colors may be extracted from images, which may be associated with the color names. Furthermore, the color names may be retrieved from a data store via a fast index color search. The color information in the metadata may be validated against the color names.
