  • Publication number: 20230396419
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a computing device to encrypt content with a data encryption key (DEK), split the DEK into a first DEK portion and a second DEK portion, upload encrypted content to a public database, provide the first DEK portion to a first type of device and the second DEK portion to a second type of device, and allow the second type of device to provide the second DEK portion to the first type of device when the first type of device is authorized to decrypt the content utilizing the first DEK portion and the second DEK portion.

  • Publication number: 20230308283
Abstract: Examples of devices are described. In some examples, an electronic device includes a processor to generate a public key associated with an installation of a program. In some examples, the electronic device includes a communication interface to instruct a computing device to create an identity block in a blockchain based on the public key. In some examples, the communication interface is to send program information to a verification device to produce a verification block associated with the identity block in the blockchain.

  • Publication number: 20220405352
Abstract: In some examples, there is provided a method, comprising receiving data encrypted using an encryption key, querying a digital ledger sewer for rights associated with the received data, recording, at the digital ledger server, a request to perform an access/process operation on the data, decrypting the data using a decryption key, and determining, using the rights, whether a rendering device is authorised to access and/or process the data.

  • Patent number: 11469901
Abstract: In an example, a data structure comprises a first genesis record having an associated authentication value and a plurality of subsequent records arranged in an order, wherein at least one subsequent record includes the authentication value associated with the first genesis record and an authentication value associated with another record in the data structure. A method may include designating one of the subsequent records as a second genesis record, acquiring an authentication value for the second genesis record, deleting at least one record preceding the second genesis record in the data structure and adding a further record to the data structure wherein the further record includes the authentication value of the second genesis record and an authentication value associated with a directly preceding record in the data structure.

  • Publication number: 20220274339
Abstract: Object model data modification is described in which object model data defining a three dimensional model to be generated by a three-dimensional printer may be obtained. Data relating to a first sensitive portion of the model may be obtained, the first sensitive portion representing a portion of the model to be concealed. Modified object model data in generated, the modified object model data including a first version of the three dimensional model that is represented in a first pre-processing application without exposing the first sensitive portion, and including the first object model data defining the three dimensional model for printing by a three-dimensional printer.

  • Publication number: 20210034764
Abstract: In an example, print apparatus comprises a security services engine to perform cryptographic services. The security services engine may receive a request for a cryptographic service and validate that the request is an authorised request. On successful validation, the security services engine may perform the cryptographic service by acquiring a first key, acquire an associated first key identifier and may output the first key identifier.

  • Patent number: 5864692
Abstract: A computer system includes a CPU for executing conventional instructions and speculative instructions, and a memory controller coupled to a system bus. In response to an access operation by one of the instructions, the CPU generates a speculative instruction bit and a corresponding access address. The access address represents a location in a global address space which includes a first address space and a second address space. The speculative instruction bit is asserted when the corresponding access address is generated by a speculative instruction. The memory controller discards the access operation when the speculative instruction bit is asserted and the access address is in the second address space. Thus, the speculative instruction is prevented from accessing the second address space. In one embodiment, the computer system includes a memory coupled to the system bus and mapped to the first address space, and an I/O device coupled to the system bus and mapped to the second address space.
