Abstract: A handrail for a passenger transport system, such as an escalator or a moving walkway, wherein at least one transponder containing at least one piece of information is integrally arranged on the surface or inside the handrail, wherein the transponder is configured such that the at least one piece of information can be transmitted contactlessly from the transponder to a reader, wherein the handrail includes several layers, wherein one of the layers includes a fabric structure, and wherein the transponder is integrated into the fabric structure or rests against or on the fabric structure.

Abstract: A passenger conveyor includes a releasable step locking system having a clamp, a lock, and an actuator. The clamp couples a step to a propulsion mechanism, the lock secures the coupling between the step and the propulsion mechanism, and the actuator changes the state of the lock so that the propulsion mechanism can be either engaged or disengaged from the step.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hand rail for a passenger conveying installation, such as e.g. an escaltor or a passenger conveyor, which has a flexible base body with two side lips for engaging around a guide rail, and in which at least one of the side lips has a profiled section, which may be guided in a track or guide groove of the guied rail, which secures the hand rail against slipping off the guide rail, characterised in that the profiled section of the side lips has a bulge-like thickening.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hand rail for an escalator or a moving walkway, comprising a flexible base body (1) with two lateral lips (2a, 2b) that wrap around a guide rail (4). The respective ends of the lateral lips are provided with a bulge (6a, 6b), which engages in a corresponding guide groove (8a, 8b) of the guide rail (4), thus securing the hand rail against lateral slippage. The invention also relates to a corresponding guide rail (4), which is equipped with a guide groove (8a, 8b) for guiding the lateral lips of the hand rail.

Abstract: The invention relates to an endless, belt-shaped tension element (1) for a conveyor system with at least one joining point (2) comprising an elastomer, in particular a cross-linked and/or thermoplastic elastomer, at least one reinforcing layer and optionally at least one tension support (3), two ends of the at least one reinforcing layer being disposed at the at least one joining point (2). An insert piece (6) is disposed between the two ends at the joining point (2), subtending an angle ? with the tension element longitudinal extension, and the ends of the at least one reinforcing layer overlap with the insert piece (6).
