Abstract: A control device for detecting the presence of an obstacle on the basis of the current absorbed by the motor controlling the window in the course of an opening or closing stroke. For effectively distinguishing an obstacle from other factors, such as defects on the window guide resulting in a regular, local increase in current absorption, the current measurement is integrated and compared with threshold values varying within the stroke and describing a reference line consisting of a number of line portions, each equal in value to the integral of the current in a respective portion of the stroke in the absence of an obstacle.

Abstract: On a vehicle door, a preassembled operating panel, housed inside the hollow bottom portion of the door, presents door lock mechanisms,a device for regulating and guiding the sliding window of the door, and a central load-bearing element consisting at least partly of a portion of the window regulating device and having elements for connecting the operating panelto the door; the door lock mechanismsbeing fitted to the central load-bearing element.

Abstract: A vehicle sun roof fastening device, particularly for convertible vehicles, wherein a lever is fitted with a hinged latch element designed to mate with a fixed connecting element, and is hinged to a support so as to oscillate in relation to the support and by virtue of a crank mechanism interposed between the lever and the support and operated by a linear actuator, the output rod of which is connected to one end of a crank having the other end angularly integral with a crank (14) on the crank mechanism.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of fire retardant formed bodies such as yarns and films of acrylic polymers is disclosed. The process comprises subjecting the polymer to sulphuration and subjecting the sulphurated polymer to a basic treatment by means of an alkali metal hydroxide, such as sodium hydroxide, whereby the polymer molecule acquires a cyclic structure.
